In 2011 OrthPhoto.net is celebrating the 7th anniversary of its existence. The creation of the website was a result of the idea of young people linked with the Church- their want to present, in a graphic form, the beauty and richness of Orthodox faith using the medium of the internet.
Thousands of users from all around the world joined OrthPhoto during seven years of it’s existence. The photographs taken by the users present traditions and life of local churches which are very often unknown and inaccessible to many believers. OrthPhoto brings people together and joins them in the Truth through the lens of a photo camera.
I would like to thank all the people who are dedicated to this project for their initiative. I wish coordinators persistence in working on the development of the website. To all of the users who upload photographs on OrthPhoto I wish wisdom in selecting of photographs.
I would like to thank Mr. Aleksander Wasyluk for his perseverance in his work, hoping that in the future he will work even more eagerly.
May the God Almighty support with his Grace all the people bound with OrthPhoto.net.
