Only until end of May you can participate in photo contest “Easter in Christian East”.

Contest is organized on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.). Aim of the contest is to present the diversity and beauty of the celebration of Easter, the most important feast in Orthodox Church and to show how the great feast of Pascha is celebrated throughout the Orthodox cultures of different countries. We look forward to receiving your photos from Great Lent, Holy week, Palm Sunday, Easter, Ascension and Pentecost.

It is not only competition it is also occasion to present your church, community around the world. The best submitted photos will be published in an album and presented on an exhibition, so your photos will be known by more people, even by people who don’t use internet. We hope that we will be able to spread the orthodox tradition as wide as possible and we are waiting for your photos! Please, invite also your friends on this photo contest!

Entries must be received before 1st of June 2013.

There are three prizes (sponsored by the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy): 1st Prize (1200€), 2nd Prize (800€) and the 3rd prize (500€).
The winners will be announced and rewarded at the Anniversary of the 20th I.A.O. General Assembly in Athens, end of June 2013.
