Okay, I see what you mean. I am having trouble trying to make my pictures 640 x 480 and keeping the detail. I need a course in how to handle graphics.
perovict2005.11.30 [10:15]
No, no, you didn't understand my point. The photo should be 640 pixels wide. It's ok the monastery's small in the photo...
jacksson2005.11.30 [04:10]
Yes, the monastery is small in the picture, but I was trying to get the surroundings also. Later, I will post more pictures and get closer shots.

The photo is ok. Pity it's too small..

Lekovici, I will try to get a photo of the church in Fresno next time I am there. Maybe this coming weekend for the baptism of one of the priest's daughter. I don't know about any merit on my part, God knows, but I love the narrow way of Orthodoxy, it is better than the broad way that leads to perdition.
Lekovicl2005.11.28 [22:29]
Do you have any photo of that Serbian Church in Fresno?
Lekovicl2005.11.28 [22:26]
Thank you Jacsson. I didnt mean that you dont want to answer I just said it becouse perhaps my question is indiscret. I am glad whan I see orthodox faith in progres and I always think that in comparation with people born in orthodoxy convertits have more merit in front of God :o)) becouse thay chose our narrow way :o) Sorry for my English.

Hello Lekovici, I am a convert, for almost nine years. Originally Orthodox Church in America (OCA), but now Greek, primarily because I retired and moved to be near the monastery. I do want to answer, but I was away at Divine Liturgy at the Serbian church in Fresno, California today. Sorry.

As to the picture itself, it seems to me it'd be better to enhance a little bit the contrast and to move down the upper edge to avoid the flash exposure.

The monastery is located in the Sierra Nevada mountains east of Fresno, CA about 50 miles. It is the monastery of the the Theotokos the Life-Giving Spring under the jurisdiction of the Metropolia of San Francisco (Greek).
The abbess is Gerondissa Markella and there are 15 nuns. This view is from my front yard.
