Small guide which can help you to prepare your images

For simple preparing of your pictures before you upload them here, we recommend freeware programm 'FastStone Image Viewer' You can download fresh version of this program here: 'http://www.faststone.org/DN/FSViewerSetup.exe' Here you have a small guide which can help you to prepare your images:
Rotating images

1. Click on image, to select it.
2. Press 'r' to rotate in right, press 'l' to rotate in left.
Cropping images
1. Click on image, to select it.
2. Press 'x' to enter Crop Board
3. If you want to have free hand to chose proportions of image, on bottom of window, choose Paper Ratio: 'Free Hand' Than with first clinking on the picture you set one corner of new crop, than keep on pressing your left button, until your cursor will be where you want to have opposite corner, across the image. If you would like to change it you can use boxes on middle parts of new crop selection to drag them in proper places.
4. If you want to move new crop, just click it inside and drag in wright place.
5. Press 'Crop' button on right bottom corner of a window.
Resizing image

1. Click on image, to select it.
2. Press 'ctrl' + 'r' to enter resizing window.
3. In 'Pixels' section you should enter just 'Width' or just 'Height' that you expect your image to be. If you enter one value, program will calculate second as it should be, keeping correct proportions of the image. If you want to publish this picture on orthphoto.net, if the photo is horizontal – maximal 'Width' value can be 1000 if the photo is vertical – maximal 'Height' value can be 1000
Be carefully: Values which you enter, SHOULDN'T be bigger than they are in 'Original Size', else quality of your picture will decrease.
4. Press 'OK' button on right bottom corner of a window.
Saving image

1. Click on image, to select it.
2. Press 'ctrl' + 's' to enter saving window.
3. Enter new name, chose a folder, and JPG as a kind of document.
4. Press 'advanced' button, on right bottom corner of this window.
5. Sign in 'Lock Preview' on left bottom corner on this window (Parameters Preview). than in the middle of the window set up 'Quality' you can enter number, or drag on the bar, that 'New file size' (in the bottom center of this window) is no more than 400KB, what is necessary to upload picture to orthphoto.net
6. Press 'OK' button.
7. Press 'Save' button.
