Procession of the miracle-granting icon of the Theotokos, St. Sava Jackson
Fr. Russell with Protodeacon Triva and Deacon Dragon lead a procession of the faithful in honor of the sacred and miracle-working icon of Mother of God at St. Sava Church, Jackson, Calif.
One of just a few created in Mt. Athos, Greece, in the late 19th century, this icon is known to work miracles for the faithful. The feast is celebrated the forth Sunday of July annually.
