Every year on July 15, the Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates the Vlakhernoba holiday - a holiday in honor of the Robe of the Virgin. On this day, the Robe of the Virgin is transferred from the Zugdidi Museum to the temple. The shrine located inside the ark (that is, the glass display case) is carried at the head of a crowded procession. An ark with clothes is in the center of the temple. The Divine Liturgy is celebrated, during and after which everyone can bow to this greatest shrine of the Christian world. On Vlakhernoba, many pilgrims from different countries come to Georgia to worship the clothes of the Mother of God.
