| | Today I went to show some friends this cross on the tree. Unfortunately two weeks ago the fire department did a fire hazard reduction burn off through this area and this tree with this miracle story was now completely burned down. I managed to pull the cross out from the burnt brush. The Cross had not burned. I took it back to the skete. I am glad to have posted these photo's on orthphoto as a memory. | | Tech: Readable text, nice detail in the epitrachelion,
Art: I like the composition with the mix and balance of foreground mid- and background elements, including some interesting background "people stuff", behind the candles.
Spirit: The juxtaposition of the symbolism of the epitrachelion with the text of the prayer is very nice. Evokes a good spiritual feeling in the attentive viewer.
