The basilica St. Clement is in the downtown Rome and is now given to Bulgarian Orthodox Church for services. Over there is the tomb of St. Cyril. He died in Rome during his successful mission to make the Cyrillic alphabet equal to the Roman and Greek for the services in the Christ’s Church. It proved to be very important and useful mission for some of the Slavonic people in East Europe and for the Orthodox Church as well (Russian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Macedonian, and for hundred of years Romanian).
