Кадърът е сниман на Разпети петък, тази година. Времето си беше мрачничко, но умишлено усилих контраста и тъмните цветове. Това е обработката - друга няма.

A dla mnie właśnie te cienie się podobają. Są wyraziste i w połączeniu z oświetlonymi ścianami nadają zdęciu wrażenie trójwymiarowości i jesczze te kopuły - fantastyczne. Wg mnie zdjęcie jest wybitne :]

Wielka szkoda, że cerkiew na tym zdjęciu jest taka ciemna (zwłaszcza na środku). Psuje to trochę wymowę zdjęcia. O wiele wspanialszy byłby efekt, gdyby jasna cerkiew kontrastowała z ciemnym niebem.

As far as I know, this cathedral's one of the biggest in Europe or even in the world (fortunately, I had a chance to be inside it in 1996).
As to the picture itself, it seems to me, it's rather dark. Many architectural details can't be seen at all. Perhaps, you should correct the exposition.

Well, well, well, the idea is splendid - the only thing I would recommend - would be taking out some of the details even in the deepest shadows. This is a good prionciple of b-w photography, which can be also extended to digital colour - even in low-key motifs the shadows and highlights should be clearly visible. In other words - they should not be immersed completely in "black soup". It would even emphasize the moody, somber character of this picture. But the very idea - as I said - interesting.
